Fly me to paradise
With over 330 Islands in the group, Fiji abounds with exciting tropical destinations. With an area covering some 360,000 square miles, it’s not always so easy to get there.
Turtle Airways offers you a quick, easy and safe seaplane transfer between Nadi and some of the best coastal resorts in western Fiji as well as transfers to Island Resorts, charters and tours. Our float planes take off from Turtle’s Seaplane Base, which is located approximately 20 minutes from the Nadi International Airport, and fly you to over 16 coastal destinations.
We Know Fiji
Our runways are always wet, therefore our experienced and courteous pilots consider flying in bare feet part of their uniform. They’ll be happy to share everything they know about Fiji – stories, legends and secrets. This is the Fiji you’ve always dreamed about. It’s the Fiji Turtle Airways knows best.
The Seaplane Experience
We make traveling part of the adventure. We take off from the water, we land on the water, and in between we’ll show you unforgettable views. The white sand beaches fringing the hundreds of islands you fly over positively shimmer when set against emerald lagoons and turquoise waters. Inland, we’ll pass over rainforests filled with deep river gorges and waterfalls that cascade over craggy volcanic cliffs to form isolated pools.
The views from the seaplane during your charter or scenic flight are stunning. The seaplanes can take you to the most remote islands in a fraction of the time of a boat.
Need a transfer to an outer island ? OR, wish to view the amazing sights of Fiji by air? OR wish to enjoy a truly unique day of shopping? OR, have a picnic on one of the most beautiful islands in the world – then your choice must be Turtle Airways.
Each float plane carries 4 passengers, plus 20kg of luggage per person, comfortably.
If you are on a limited schedule, vacationing on an outer island, and want to explore the world of shopping in Fiji, then a day’s outing in either Suva, Sigatoka, Lautoka or Nadi is the perfect answer. Just charter one of the five float planes and the day is yours. With up to 5 passengers per flight (hand luggage only), you’ll find the rates very reasonable.
A highlight of your vacation could very well be a day trip to some of the most outstanding isolated islands and beaches in all of the South Pacific accessible only on Turtle Airways’ fleet of float planes – or to some of the established resorts, if you don’t want to go by boat.
