These guests were visiting : Yasawa Island Resort

Bula! Yasawa was a magical experience. There is no way to put on a brochure exactly what that place is. We absolutely loved it! The people who work at that resort really make the experience a special one. We made tons of friends there both with staff and with guests. The guests that were there when we first arrived made the place seem like home. It was so fun to laugh and have fun with those people. We were the only Americans for a while, which was fun. I did five dives while I was there and would recommend you suggest anyone who dives to take advantage. The song they sing to you when you depart gave both of us some kind of weird wet eye reaction, one we had not experienced the entire time we were there! Vinaka Vakelevu!

Megan

Well we are now back from our honeymoon, and needless to say, we now realise how England is a horrible place to be!! (its raining heavily here)

We had an absoultely amazing time, we were totally unprepared for how much fun we would have, let alone how emotional the whole experience would be, leaving the staff and all our friends behind was nearly impossible for us.

We are looking at going back next year possibly, so i may be in touch soon with a request for a quote (unfortunately for a Deluxe Bure this time though)

Our first few days were a bit overcast with a couple of heavy storms, but on the 4th day it cleared up and we were treated to wonderful blue skies for the rest of the time. The honeymoon bure was beautiful, i think we had the best one as well, as all of the others views of the ocean were partially obscured by plantlife and trees.

I could go on for hours about how wonderful the whole place was but you already know that.

I took over 500 photos, mostly sunsets and things. Ive attached a couple to this email and will be putting more on my website very soon.

We would both like to thank you for helping us find this place; of all the places we have been in the world, we found it the most welcoming and unbelieveably beautiful.

Thanks again for all of your help

These guests were visiting : Matamanoa Island Resort

Hi Deb

It was wonderful!!!!! We had a great time. We relaxed and enjoyed the resort, the view and the service. Matamanoa was even better than we had imagined. We went island hoping and met many people from New Zealand, Australia and the USA. The meal plan was definitely the best thing to do and the fact that there was no TV in the rooms made us concentrate in each other more and have fun doing snorkelling, kayaking, sunbathing or just nothing at all!!!

Thanks so much Deb for all your help and for sending us to Matamanoa, the fact that there were no little kids running and screaming all over made it a real Honeymoon experience. We look forward to go back for our anniversary!

Best regards,

Claudia

These guests were visiting : Royal Davui

Hi Megan,

The welcome message/card you left for us at Royal Davui was lovely. It was such a wonderful surprise to receive your message/card on our arrival. It was also really sweet and attentive of you to call us after our holiday to check if everything went well.

In spite of the unexpected rain, the holiday turned out beautifully and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We were completely pampered and treated like royalty and the food there was just so fantastic.

We would like you to know that you have been most helpful. You had made holiday planning and bookings so easy for us. Your level of service surpassed that of any travel agent/consultant we have ever met. As we had made our bookings at the eleventh hour, we would never have been able to manage if not for you.

Kind Regards

Hi Megan

Back from honeymoon today. Had a great time and thanks for your message left at the Royal Davui. This resort is great - really great. I would thoroughly recommend it to other clients. We had a good time from start to finish at this resort. The chef Darren was great and provided good vege food and cooked some of our favourite things. We also had a tour of the kitchens on request!

Thanks again for handling this and advising us of Royal Davui - the team there were great

These guests were visiting : Vomo Island Resort

Hi Deb

The resort was terrific and the people made our holiday so special. They created just the right balance between looking after us attentively without invading our privacy. And what can we say about the food - wow! It was the only reason I gave for being pleased we weren't staying any longer because I was sure I wouldn't be able to fit in my clothes if we had gobbled up any more!

Thank you very much for all your help. We will remember Vomo for the rest of our lives.

Tokoriki was fantastic! We had a wonderful time and the food was just superb. Everyone was very friendly and the service was excellent. We did a few day trips - loved Monuriki the best (where Castaway was filmed). Accommodation was beautiful.

It was an unforgettable holiday that will stay with us forever. Thank you so much Deb, or Vinaka Vakalevu for all your help.

P.S The helicopter ride was amazing...scary but very nice!

These guests were visiting : Beachcomber Island Resort

Amazing, unforgetable, beautiful and heart warming describes our stay on Turtle Island. The beauty of the island itself is breathtaking.

We were married on Turtle Island in August 2005. We chose to have the "Grand Wedding." It far exceeded our expectations. Ray,the photographer/videographer went out of his way the provide us with the best pictures to remember our special time. The staff, which was more like family, made our day, as well as our entire stay, so special. We had a wedding that brought us, as well as the rest of the guests, to tears. The guests at our wedding were people we had only met 3 days prior. Yet, their attendance during our wedding ment more to us than having 500 friends from our home town there.

We quickly became very attached to strangers. This is mostly due to the way you are embraced when you become a guest on Turtle Island. You are encouraged to meet everyone and join in with all of the meals and group activities (including Kava), but not forced. If you go there wanting complete privacy, your wishes will be respected, but we guarantee you will want to join in the nightly dinners and activities. These people become family. The staff all know you by name and greet you with a "Bula" and a smile everytime they see you. The service is spectacular.

Anything we asked for, the staff did everything they could to provide. Our bure mama, Buna 1, was very nice. We chit-chatted just like we were old friends. The girls that helped serve the meals were so sweet. Lucy, Lela, Litia, all of the girls were great. Milika (Richards wife) is hilarious. We had so much fun laughing and joking with her. She is real down to earth. If you go, ask her to tell you the "Sona" story.

Everybody there is treated equally special. It doesn't matter who you are or how much money you have, you are all treated as family and are all given the same attentiveness.

The school children were so sweet. We enjoyed the times they sang to us. We also enjoyed all of the songs from the staff.

Definitly take advantage of the private beach lunches. They are amazing. A private beach all to yourselves to do what ever you want. The private beach time was so special. A chance to share very intimate and memorable moments together as a couple.

Also, go on the sunrise horseback ride. The beauty of the sunrise is undescribable; You just have to see it.

The food that was prepared for us was delicious. The chef, Peter, out did himself at every meal. He was so attentive to our special requests. I have food allergies and he adjusted everything that he served me according to what I could and couldn't eat.

Our bures (houses) were huge. Our bure mama had it decorated every day with fresh flowers. The bures have a bose sound system, large canopy beds, a hot tub built into the floor, large double vanities, a large double shower and dual toilets. We were in bure #15, and it was very nice. If you can stay in Bure #15 or Bure #1.

The only thing that I could have done without was the spiders. They are not poisonous and the staff do what they can to keep them away with insecticides. They did make for fun conversation to come home and tell our friends and family. We also got some fun pictures of the 8-legged friends to share at home. The staff also spray insecticides around the island to help with the mosquitos. They do a good job, but you will still need to keep you bottle of "Island Perfume" (bug lotion)with you. But the spiders and insects were not noticable enough to spoiled our stay by anymeans.

I would highly recommend going to Turtle Island. If you go there expecting to find fault, than you will. But then again, if you are that type of person, you would probably find fault anywhere you went. This Island is not for the stuffy type of people that can not let their hair down. If you can enjoy the sand between your toes and a relaxed lighted atmosphere than you will truly enjoy yourself.

If you go there and see all of the beauty and embrace all of the love and friendship, then you will have one of the most amazing vacations of your life. We are going back and we can not wait!

These guests were visiting : Turtle Island

After 9 days in Turtle Island, Fiji we have returned to the U.S.A. totally renewed, not only in body and mind, but also in spirit.

If you are into natural beauty, excellent personal service, friendliness and wanting to experience the sincere love and care that people give in their service, then you must visit this island.

The food is excellent to include a wide variety for the most sophisticated palate, prepared with fresh grown ingredients and catches of the day, as well as excellent meats from Australia.

Wake-up everyday to the singing of beautiful parrots, unique sunrises, calm turquoise waters, laughter of the friendly Fijians, freshly squeezed tropical juices, and outstanding breakfasts. Choose 1 out of the 8 beautiful privates beaches and have your picnic delivered to you by boat with all that is necessary (you pick), all this resort wants is to attend your personal wants and need, and believe me that is the one thing they know how to do best.

This is not a made up story, it is real, BUT..... you must be willing to let the daily version of real life behind so that the beautiness of this place can penetrate and embalm you into it's serene, calm, and loving environment.

Hope you have a chance someday to visit Turtle Island.

I will not give any specifics names because the entire staff is GREAT!!!
