Dining is a celebration on Turtle Island. Fijian chefs prepare contemporary western cuisine with traditional Fijian and Indo/Fijian influences. Join the dinner party held in a different location each evening or dine separately with your partner.
You are allocated a personal chef who will prepare you meals according to your taste, dietary requirements and portion size.
Freshness and quality characterize meals on Turtle. Diverse fish and seafoods such as lobster, snapper and prawns is a fixture on the menu. Tender meats such as lamb and beef are imported as well as cheeses and beverages of world-class quality.
Breakfast
Breakfast is 'a la carte'. The menu has a wide variety of egg dishes, pancakes, fruit, cereal and toast. Ever had a lobster dish for breakfast? It is on the menu at Turtle and is a must try. For those Australians that just can't survive without their Vegemite, Turtle Island provides it for you.
Private Dining
Secluded private dining in a handful of remote locations is a remarkably romantic experience. Whether you choose to dine in your bure, on the end of the dock or on a pontoon floating on the Blue Lagoon, you will amaze at the personal service, delicious cuisine and the remarkable sunset. Many past guests, whilst on their dine outs sometimes can't resist the joyous sounds of the dinner party radiating toward them and the couple join the party for dessert.
Dinner Party
The dinner party is simply sensational. Each night, set under the stars most evenings, a maximum 14 couples gather at one large table for a 3-course meal, hosted by the Guest Services Manager. This is one of the most interesting experiences you will have on Turtle. The people you meet from all corners of the globe will share their stories and experiences and the Fijian service and entertainment certainly sparks the fun.
Beverages
Turtle has an extensive range of beverages; fresh fruit juice, cappuccino, café latte, sodas are provided in your bure and at the bar.
Turtle's wine selection is the best in Fiji. A range of 60 fine wines sourced from around the world, often from small, award winning vineyards in Australia, New Zealand, America, Italy, South Africa and France.
The Turtle Island bar staff are fantastic at preparing delightful, traditional and tropical cocktails. Each evening, cocktails are served on Dolphin Beach. Guests gather not just to enjoy a delicious cocktail but to wonder in amazement at the sunset reflecting pink, gold and amber hues over the tranquil Blue Lagoon.
