Marriage under Fijian law involves two parts :

The Registration : The registration of intent to marry with the Registry Office in Sigatoka. The office is open from 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday and the meeting will take around 20 minutes. It is important to note that the bride and groom will need an original copy of their respective birth certificates, their passports and if previously married, a copy of their divorce papers.

The Ceremony : A religious ceremony to be held at the Outrigger On The Lagoon. Usually, the ceremony takes place at sunset and there are a variety of romantic locations from which to choose. A Minister or Marriage Celebrant will be available prior to the wedding to discuss the wording used in the ceremony.
