Registration
All couples need to register their intent to marry with the Registry Office in Nadi. One of our staff members will escort the couple to the registry office, which is open in Nadi from 9.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays). It takes about 30 minutes to complete the formalities. We suggest that couples allow a day on the mainland prior to traveling to the resort to complete this process.
Documentation
The bride and groom must bring the following items to allow a smooth process of registering their intent to marry in Fiji.
- Certified or original copy of their Birth certificate,
- current passport, and
- if previously married a copy of the divorce papers.
The Ceremony
The ceremony will take place on Malolo Island at the couple's own choice of romantic location including on the beach at sunset, on the Jetty, amongst the gardens or by the pool. We will arrange for the minister or celebrant to meet with the bride and groom prior to the ceremony to arrange any special details or requests and the words used during the ceremony.
