Plantation Island has all the facilities and activities you would expect to find in a major resort.
The Boat Bure houses all the water-based activities from snorkeling gear, to water skis, banana and donut, parasailing, lifejackets, knee boards and paddle canoes. The fishing and dive gear is located adjacent in the Padi Dive Shop. All trips whether snorkeling, sandbar, fishing and dive depart from in front of the Boat Bure.
Plantation has a flotilla of 16 craft including 2 dive boats, fishing, coral viewing, cruising and long boats.
On land there is the tennis court, mini golf, bowling and hockey greens. A 9 hole par 32 golf course with separate practice putting green. Buggies are available for hire.
For the truly fit there is a running track and daily touch rugby match with the staff on the rugby field.
Local arts and crafts can be found in the Gallery, and Resort Shop with local wood carvers making traditional artifacts on the main beach and also at the Airstrip handicraft center. Experience the local culture by taking a visit to Shell village, the Chinese cemetery or the Hillside Church on Sundays.
Kids will find the games room great fun with air hockey, table soccer, pool and tennis tables. Also for the kids and young adults is the bead room where for a small fee you can create your own necklaces and bracelets from an amazing array of different colored beads, shells and threads.
On the practical side there is a coin-operated laundry with iron and ironing board.
At night there are the latest movies to watch or satellite TV programs like CNN or World Cup.
There is a DJ in the main restaurant at 10pm who plays till late.
